Getting to Isla
This page has information on arriving at the Cancun airport and how to proceed to Isla Mujeres.
You must first fly into the Cancun airport. From the airport you will need transportation to one of the ferry locations that serve Isla Mujeres.
There are several ways to get from the Airport to the ferries. Taxis are always available and the price varies on number of passengers and bags. This is the most expensive way.
For budget minded travelers you can ride the ADO bus to the central Cancun terminal and transfer to a bus that runs to Puerto Juarez. The main bus goes to within about a mile and you have to transfer to a collectivo, which is a small van. Not too difficult but no for everyone. Definitely the most economical way to go.
